Either way, getting started can be the hardest and most daunting step. There are many self help books and all the self-empowerment blogs you could need, but how do you start the practical steps? How do you choose a name? Get a domain name? Register a business? Set up an email address? A website? A logo?

The aim of Vurny is to lay out some simple steps to help. Practical steps which are jargon free (or at least jargon explained!) that can help you get your business idea off the ground. I’ll cover topics like business set up, getting set up with a website and email addresses, selling online, taking payments, recording your accounts, marketing, social media, running a support desk and much much more. I’ll recommend tools to help you and walk you through how to configure these tools to take away as much stress as possible, so you can focus on growth not admin.
Personally I’ve been working in technology and start ups for 15 years, from helping family and friends to get their hobby businesses off the ground for a bit of extra income, to setting up teams and offices around the world. Hopefully I can provide some advice that helps you. I am not telling you anything here that you cannot find elsewhere, but hopefully by pulling all of this information together and explaining it as simply as I can, you will use it to find your path to success.
